An angry vegan pulled a knife on her mother and threatened to kill her after smelling the meat sauce she was cooking in the kitchen.
The incident happened in Italy, after the newly-unemployed 48-year-old vegan moved back home.

She said that she had had "no sensory nor olfactory contact" with animal products before she returned.
But tensions flared between her and her 69-year-old mother over the use of meat and dairy, leading to a series of aggressive confrontations between the pair.
They finally came to a head in 2016 after the mother decided to cook a Bolognese sauce. Angered by the aroma, her daughter threated violence if she wouldn't stop cooking.
"If you won't stop on your own then I'll make you stop," she said, according to the mother's civil complaint, The Telegraph UK reports.
"Quit making ragù, or I'll stab you in the stomach."
Justice of Peace Nadia Trifilò ordered the vegan to pay a court fine of over NZ$600 as well as over NZ$800 in compensation to her mother.
