Nineties kids, get ready.
Some of your favourite early childhood toys are making a long-anticipated comeback.
The original Polly Pocket compact is back, and set to hit New Zealand shelves on Saturday December 1.
While the new Polly Pockets are the same compact, micro-scale collectible we remember, she's had a 2018 upgrade.
There's a small 'Tiny Pocket Places' assortment, a 'Hidden Hideouts' range and a 'Pocket World' assortment. They all range in price point, meaning Christmas need not be too expensive.
"Polly Pocket was a 90s phenomenon that stole the hearts of children right from its very first release, and we are extremely excited to introduce her to the next generation of Kiwi kids," says Jacinta Whitehead, Mattel ANZ Marketing Director.
"We hope the relaunch will evoke feelings of nostalgia for the Millennial mums of today who grew up loving Polly Pocket.
This is a chance for them to share with their children the fun and excitement they had with Polly when they were younger."
Polly Pocket isn't the only 90's toy making a comeback this year.
New generation versions of Furby and electronic game Bop-It have been released, just to really make us feel nostalgic.
Happy shopping, millennial mums.
