A real estate listing with an unusual selling point of "it's dreadful" had thousands of views online.
The listing on TradeMe Property for the three bedroom, one bathroom house was posted on Monday by City Sales, and has since had over 3000 views.
"IT'S DREADFUL" says the listing title and its description is no more positive.
"Add generous proportions of elbow-grease and the odd drop of blood, sweat and tears and you won't look back - we hope."
The Marketing Manager Scott Dunn said City Sales is a family business, so they don't always do things the conventional way.
"Sometimes we upset or offend people, we're okay with that as we have a job to do and we're very good at doing it."
And it's clear from this listing they're certainly not out to please everyone.
"First-home buyers bring your parents and a bio-hazard suit," the listing also states.
While the insult-hurling tactic may seem strange, the thousands of listing views show that it is working.
The house is due to be auctioned on December 16.
