'Wouldn't change a thing': UK dad's adorable tweets about child with Down syndrome go viral

A UK father has warmed hearts worldwide after his post about what to expect from a child with Down's syndrome went viral.

Jason Kneen posted a tweet saying: "'My child has Down's Syndrome, what should I expect?' This. 100 percent this."

The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Mr Kneen's adorable daughter Rosie laughing. He then followed up his post with another photo of his daughter with a towel over her head and the hashtag '#wouldntchangeathing'.

Mr Kneen went on to explain that although he didn't feel prepared for a child with disabilities, he quickly realised that "ANY child can be slow to talk, slow to walk, have learning disabilities, and ANY child can be brilliant and wonderful and amazing."

He detailed Rosie's health issues, her struggles with pneumonia and hospital stays, but emphasised that he would not change a thing about his daughter.

One post in the thread even caught the attention of Dwanye 'The Rock' Johnson; Mr Kneen wrote about learning all the songs in Moana after an extended hospital stay with Rosie.

Johnson retweeted it, adding: "Look at this lovely cookie. Stay strong Rosie! Uncle Maui loves ya."

The thread touched hearts worldwide, with dozens of people adding photographs of their own children with Down syndrome.

Mr Kneen said the internet response had been an "amazing experience with a massively positive response."
