We might come under fire for the way we say "fush and chups", but Kiwis can now smugly claim to have the sexiest accent in the world.
Travel website 'Big 7 Media' polled more than 8500 people from 60 countries across the globe, to find the most attractive accent, and New Zealand came out at the number one spot.

"Here at Big 7 Travel, we're all about inspiring people to visit somewhere new," the site reads, meaning some hopeful single tourists might be making their way to Aotearoa.
"To a novice ear, the New Zealand accent might sound just like the Australian accent, but Big 7 Travel readers disagree," the site reads.
"The 'Newzild' dialect is outrageously charming. The sexiest accent in the world? It's official."
South Africa came in at number two, and the Irish lilt took out third place.
Surprisingly, the long-romanticized Italian accent took out the fourth spot.
The other countries in the top 10 are Spanish, French, Scottish, US Southern, Brazilian Portugese and Australian.
