After moving to the UK, former English Professor Wendy Parkins desperately tried to conceal her phobias from others.
Living with depression, contamination phobia, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder commonly known as OCD, she struggled to find a treatment but found that writing helped her overcome the isolation.
From this self-medication, came a book titled 'Every morning so far, I'm alive'.
Wendy Parkins spoke to The AM Show.
