A UK schoolboy who almost drowned and was in a coma remarkably woke up after smelling his favourite Lynx deodorant.
Thirteen-year-old Kacper Krauze almost drowned in February while paddling with friends in Cumbria in England's northwest, Metro reports.

He was rushed to Freeman Hospital in Newcastle where he remained in a coma for three weeks.
Everything was tried to wake the teen up, and it wasn't until his mum, Wioletta, sprayed his favourite Lynx deodorant that he opened his eyes, Metro reports.
"It was a miracle," she said. "We had tried everything to wake him up.
"As soon as I sprayed Lynx he opened his eyes immediately."
According to Medical News Today, research has suggested stimulating the senses of smell as well as touch, sound, and vision may help a person recover from a coma.
"A visitor could help by wearing a favourite perfume or holding the person's hand," an article reviewed by clinical instructor Dr Nancy Choi says.
Wioletta said Kacper still wears Lynx to this day.
"We had played music, we had spent hours talking to him," she said. "But in the end it was the Lynx which did it."
Kacper has made a full recovery, other than having slight trouble with his speech and using his right hand.
