Garlic bread lovers rejoice: If you need a little winter warming, sandwich chain Subway has announced their latest menu addition - The Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread Sub.
This game changer means when picking your classic bread option at the start of the assembly line, you can pick a garlic bread base, topped with mozzarella cheese that's then melted, before building a sub inside.

Senior brand manager Marissa Brennan said it's the perfect way to beat those winter cravings, calling it the "supreme bad boy" of the winter menu. (Italian and Herb doesn't know what hit it).
"Not only does the aromatic garlic give any sub a bold new flavour, the mozzarella melts into the fillings to create an indulgent winter meal that will satisfy the wildest winter cravings."
The move is part of the chain's new 'Ultimate range' which will have three types: the Ultimate Meatball Sub, the Ultimate Pizza Sub and The Ultimate Toastie Sub (the garlic one). Customers can customize their subs with fillings as usual.
Brennan says it's part of an ongoing "menu evolution".
"[It's] unlike anything Subway has ever created before and once our guests have tried it, they'll be back for more," she says.
"Subway is no longer just about our freshly-made iconic subs, guests can also enjoy hot, grilled paninis, flavour-packed wraps and crispy salads."
The move by Subway is similar to Domino's unveiling their buttery garlic bread crust last year.
The garlic bread option will be available from July 1.
