Clarke Gayford has his hands full at the moment with his roles as television show host and full-time dad, but once Neve leaves for university he may have a fresh career option on his hands.
Gayford revealed on Twitter that he gave his one-year-old daughter, as well as partner Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, a fresh 'do' over the weekend
"Helped dye partner's hair and gave daughter a haircut with scissors I bought at the supermarket for $6," he tweeted on Sunday.
"Remarkably, both parties still talking to me."
While hairdressers have reopened under COVID-19 alert level 2, many Auckland salons are quoting a six-week-long waiting list for appointments, so it's easy to see why the PM went for a home job.
While the colour looked fresh during Ardern's appearance on the AM Show on Monday, host Ryan Bridge put his foot in it when asking why she was dying it in the first place.
"Is it going grey or something?" he blurted out, which led to a curt answer from the PM.
It's not the first time we've been given a glimpse into the couple's down-to-earth life in Wellington during lockdown.
Last week a cafe customer saw Ardern and Gayfrod get turned away from Olive cafe, before a staff member chased them down to offer a table.
"I have to take responsibility for this, I didn't get organised and book anywhere," Gayford revealed on Twitter.
