Clarke Gayford has shared a gift given to him to remember his fiancée Jacinda Ardern while she's out on the campaign trail - a pillowcase with her face on it.
"Amazing the curios picked up on the campaign trail," Gayford said on Twitter, accompanied with a photo of the pillowcase featuring Ardern, a silver fern, and two English roses.
"This wee gem of a gift was slipped onto my pillow so I won't miss her too much while she's out getting it done and I'm home stocking up on 2L milks."
Gayford also gave a cheeky reply to a commenter asking if he knew where to buy some cheap lamb, seemingly referring to Tuesday night's The Press Leaders debate - where Labour leader Ardern and National leader Judith Collins were asked to guess the prices of common household items.
Both incorrectly priced a 2kg leg of lamb at $20 and $28 respectively - the average price is $40.
"Owing to a freezer full of venison it's also my fault that no lamb has been purchased in a while," Gayford said.
Ardern is currently on the campaign trail bidding for re-election, with polling day taking place on October 17.
