If you're looking for a little inspiration to shift those lockdown kilograms as we head into summer, this Aussie woman's amazing effort may be just what you need.
Appearing on Channel 7's Sunrise, Melbourne woman Anna Kambranis revealed she shed an incredible 138kg in just 18 months.
"I had a massive problem, I was very obese," Kambranis told Sunrise.
She said the catalyst for change came in 2018 when friends pulled her aside to talk about her health after she tipped the scales at 206kg.
The wake-up call inspired her to embark on a new fitness regime with a personal trainer and dramatically change her eating habits, cutting out junk food and eating three small meals a day.
When asked what the secret is, Kambranis revealed for her it was "will and determination".
"It was so much weight to take off, so I just put my mind to it and started exercising," she said.
She now regularly hits the gym and walks everywhere she can, sometimes up to three hours a day.
"I've not stopped since I lost this weight, I just want to keep it off."
Commenters on Channel 7's Facebook post couldn't believe the dramatic before and after photos.
"Inspiration right there, amazing effort and I'm sure you will improve others who think that they can't do it, be proud," wrote one person.
"Amazing. Incredible. Awesome work girl. Determination always pays off," praised another.
