Whether you're a 'medium rare' kind of woman or a 'well done' man, everyone has a particular way they like their steak cooked.
But meat lovers around the world have united in their disgust over the method one US woman uses to cook her steak - in the toaster.
TikTok user Juliette uploaded a video this week which claims to show "how to cook a steak" as she prepares the dish for her boyfriend.
In the video, which has racked up over 1.6 million views, Juliette places two scotch fillets into an upright toaster - where you'd usually pop your Vogels - and puts them down to 'cook'.
When the steaks are browned on the outside, she removes them, covers them in barbeque sauce - another crime in action - and digs in.
The video has over 11,000 angry comments from baffled and enraged viewers.
"I am physically upset," one person wrote.
"Don't toast it you DONUT," chastised another.
"I just watched a crime happen," wrote a third.
Others tagged in celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey, saying he "wasn't going to be happy".
But upon looking at Juliette's TikTok page, it quickly becomes clear that this is not the first unusual cooking method she's tried.
She's also attempted to make popcorn using a hair straightener, cook hot dogs in a tumble dryer and meatballs in a coffee maker.
Of course, attempting Juliette's method might result in more than undercooked steak. Dripping grease and fat in a toaster is a dangerous combination, so please do not try it at home.
