If you're one of the many souls who get a sick satisfaction out of watching pimples be popped, you're bound to be familiar with Dr Sandra Lee, aka Dr Pimple Popper.
Dr Lee has over 4 million followers on social media, where she posts often stomach-churning - or exciting, depending on your preference - videos of her extracting giant cysts and blackheads from her patients.
But after More FM host Flynny admitted to still getting pimples at age 41, Dr Lee joined the show to explain to him and his co-host Jay-Jay Feeney why people still get acne well into their adult years.
"Pimples are largely controlled by genetics - really the type of skin you have," she explained.
"If you have more oily skin you're more prone to pimples, and certainly [they're controlled] by hormones - that's why we get them more when we're teenagers.
"But remember, if you're still getting pimples it's probably largely because you're still producing hormones," she added.
"Just know that all of us get pimples sometimes so you're not alone, and there are dermatologists out there to treat you if you need help."
