A puzzle meant for infants and young children has left hundreds of adults scratching their heads thanks to the inclusion of one mysterious animal nobody can quite place.
The Kmart puzzle contains seven slots for various animal puzzle pieces, including more obvious contenders like an alligator, giraffe, lion and elephant.
But the animal in the top right-hand corner appears weirdly ambiguous.
An Australian woman posted a picture of the puzzle to the Kmart Hacks and Decor Facebook group, asking if anyone could shed a little light.
"Just wondering if anyone can help me out and let me know what animal the one circled in red is meant to be?" she wrote.
"A monkey doesn't have a body like a horse lol. Any other ideas? It's driving me nuts!"
The post racked up over 500 answers with women fighting it out in the comments over what they thought it was. Answers ranged from monkey, bear, gorilla, cow - even a bison.
"It's a gorilla or monkey. It's a jungle-themed puzzle," one person wrote.
"I was thinking maybe a water bison?" another guessed.
"I thought a cow at first but it's jungle theme so I would say monkey!" another wrote.
"Surely a hippo?" Someone else countered.
"I think it's my ex-husband," one woman joked in a comment which racked up over 50 likes.
In the end, it seemed the majority of commenters settled on gorilla or monkey thanks to the jungle theme of the puzzle; but it might be a lesson to the retail outlet to label its children's toys a little clearer next time.
