Between COVID-19 alerts and tsunami threats, it may feel for many New Zealanders that 'adulting' has been a little bit too much lately.
Luckily things are looking up from next week with an adults-only ice cream truck set to tour the suburbs of Auckland, Wellington and Tauranga.
From 6pm each evening, the Häagen-Dazs ice cream truck will be driving around offering a complimentary pint of ice cream to those needing dessert to get through the evening - once the kids have gone to bed, obviously.
Two flavours will be on offer to sweet-toothed Kiwis: strawberries and cream, and salted caramel.
Organisers say delivery is available to request when registering.
The promotion ran in Auckland last year, but it will be the first time it's offering dessert up in Wellington and Tauranga.
Kiwis can register for the chance to receive a visit from the ice cream truck for them and their neighbours by visiting the official website.
