The phrase 'finger-licking good' was taken to new heights recently after a Bolivian woman found a severed finger in her burger.
Estefany Benitez was having a burger at Hot Burger in Santa Cruz de la Sierra last week when she made the gruesome discovery.
In a Facebook post she says she and a friend were eating their burgers when she found the severed tip of a finger in her food.
A rough translation of the post says "at the time of eating and when chewing I found a FINGER".
A picture on the post clearly shows the top of a severed finger next to her burger.
In a video, also posted to Facebook, Benitez complains to staff who offer to refund her money.
They also say the burgers arrive pre-made and nothing like that had happened before.
Benitez was so disgusted not only with the find but with the fact the restaurant carried on serving customers she posted the whole saga online.
A company spokesperson said it was an "unfortunate incident", the Daily Mail reported.
Edson Claure, director of the National Police's Special Crime Fighting Force told local media a company employee lost part of his finger at work, the Daily Mail reported.
The Hot Burger branch is closed while an investigation is carried out.
