A kitten born with an extra set of ears due to a genetic mutation has captured netizens' hearts.
Midas, a four-month-old grey kitten, has amassed nearly 45,000 Instagram followers since the account was activated three weeks ago.
She lives in Turkey with owner Canis Domesci and shares her home with two dogs, Zeyno and Suzy.
Canis had Midas checked by a vet and reports the cat has purr-fect hearing.
One pair of ears are fully functional and the smaller, front set are purely decorative, giving the feline a unique appearance.
As if she couldn't get any cuter, she also has a patch of white fur on her chest shaped like a heart.
Canis told the Daily Mail that while Midas seems healthy, she will undergo further checks as she grows to make sure there are no other genetic mutations that could impact her health.
"She is a very playful cat. But very friendly as well," Canis said.
"She sleeps all day and is awake all night."
Reddit users commenting on a photo of Midas poked fun at the typical sassy temperament of cats.
"All the better to hear you with and they'll still ignore any calls or commands."
"Now, she can REALLY choose to ignore you."
Other netizens said the kitten could be a good luck charm, calling her a "mythical" and "magical".
"Who's that Pokémon?!?" one user wrote.
