When painting laminate kitchen cabinets, it is vital to give them a good clean to get rid of any grease or dirt.
"Resene has a product called Smooth Surface Sealer which is a product designed for hard-to-stick-to, glossy substrates like cabinets, tiles, laminates, high gloss enamel, etc" says Murdo.
Murdo also gives some tips on staining your house, as exposed areas of your house will require regular maintenance compared to other shaded areas. "Work in a cycle, work in a bit of a maintenance program."
