Aucklanders wanting to reacquaint themselves with the city's favourite foodie hotspots are being offered a progressive degustation deal that includes four fabulous restaurants in one evening.
A Taste of Gold is a four-course tasting experience spanning Amano, Botswana Butchery, Café Hanoi and The Lodge Bar & Dining for a cost of $100 per person.
That price includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, but additional beverages are not included and must be purchased separately. Wine pairings are recommended with each course.
Limited tickets are available to the Taste of Gold evenings, which will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday between April 18 and May 6.
During each of the evenings, customers will convene at The Lodge Bar & Dining in Commercial Bay for starters before splitting into three groups to rotate through the subsequent two courses and dessert at Botswana Butchery, Amano and Café Hanoi - all of which are a spoon's throw from one another in downtown Auckland's bustling Britomart district.
The events are being hosted by American Express to mark the launch of its Gold Rewards Card, which offers dining credits to use at the four restaurants along with many others around Aotearoa.
"After a challenging end to 2021 for Auckland's hospitality industry, these gourmet events allow Auckland's gastronomes the opportunity to support local restaurants while simultaneously experiencing some of the finest food the city has to offer," said American Express NZ Country Manager, Rob Bourne.
A Taste of Gold tickets are on sale via the iTICKET website.
