Two US factory workers were taken to hospital earlier this week after falling into a tank full of chocolate at Pennsylvania's Mars M&M manufacturing plant.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 2pm on Thursday (local time) after two contractors became trapped in the tank.
Local emergency service communications supervisor Brad Wolfe told CNN it's currently unclear how the pair fell into the tank.
Fire crews had to "cut a hole in the side of the tank to get them out", he said.
One worker was taken by helicopter to a hospital and the other by ambulance, CNN reported, citing emergency services.
"We can confirm both external contractors have been taken offsite for further evaluation and normal operations at our Elizabethtown site have resumed," Mars told local news station MGAL, adding it was "extremely grateful for the quick work of the first responders".
It was unclear what the extent of their injuries were, local media said.
