A woman in Brisbane took revenge into her own hands by allegedly running her husband and his mistress over in her BMW.
In March 2021, Christie Lee Kennedy set up Find my Phone on her husband's phone to track where her husband would be.
According to Daily Mail Australia, the court heard that Crown prosecutor Jennifer O'Brien Kennedy tracked down her husband and discovered him talking with his lover by the side of the road at the park in Brisbane's north.
She then allegedly drove on the wrong side of the road before accelerating into the pair.
CCTV footage filmed from a house close by captured the incident.
Daily Mail Australia reported Kennedy then got out of her car, grabbed the mistress by the hair and punched her in the head while screaming "fat moll".
O'Brien told the court Kennedy did not attempt to steer the vehicle away from her husband his lover.
"Put simply ... the defendant drove her car, a large and powerful object ... and ran them over."
Kennedy's husband David Larkin suffered cuts to the head, arm and leg bruising and swelling, rib pain and a dislocated finger.
The woman suffered head cuts, abdominal pain, arm abrasions as well as thigh and ankle injuries.
Larkin and Kennedy had been together for nine years before he had an affair.
In court, Kennedy's husband admitted to cheating on his wife.
"We were having an affair, if that is how you want to describe it,"
Kennedy pleaded not guilty to two counts of unlawful striking causing grievous bodily harm.
She pleaded guilty to unlawful assault.
The trial is ongoing.
