Cooking in the air fryer is easy, which leaves a little time for creativity. This air fryer Korean red pepper salmon takes the best of a good produce and combines it with the irresistible Korean red pepper. Slathering mayonnaise on it along with lemon turns this into the most delectable marinade.
Cooked until the smokey flavours of charred pepper forms into the perfect crust, it is so mouthwatering that you'll want seconds.
Ingredients
Serves 2
- 2 salmon fillet, 1.5 inch thickness each
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tsp Korean red pepper powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp mayonnaise.
Directions
1. Making the paste
- In a bowl mix minced garlic, half a teaspoon of ground black pepper, lemon juice, oil, Korean red pepper powder, salt and mayonnaise. Set aside.
2. Marinating the salmon
- Pat the salmon dry and coat with paste.
- Sprinkle a quarter of a teaspoon of ground black pepper on top of the salmon for it to cook into a crust.
- Line the air fryer tray with parchment paper. Preheat the air fryer to 200C for three minutes.
- Place the fillet in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 200C.
3. Serve
- Serve with rice and steamed vegetables.
