It's Mental Health Awareness Week and this year's theme is to 'reconnect with the people and places that lift you up'.
"We pick a new theme every year because there isn't just one way to boost wellbeing and there's no one-size-fits-all approach that will work for everyone in Aotearoa," says Mental Health Foundation chief executive Shaun Robinson.
One way to care for your mental health is to cut down on the time you spend staring at screens.
Voices Of Hope co-founder and mental health advocate Jazz Thornton has shared some of the daily habits she follows to keep her mental health on track, including one unusual method that helps to reduce her screen time.
