A gymgoer in Ohio had her early morning workout take a turn for the worst after she found herself stuck upside down in a piece of gym equipment.

Early on Tuesday morning (local time), Ohio woman Christine Faulds was working out at her local gym where she had flipped herself upside down on an inversion table and couldn't flip herself back up.

As it was around 3am, only one other person was at the gym and Faulds was forced to call emergency services.

The gymgoer had to call a 911 operator off her smartwatch and ask for help. She decided to share her phone call with the 911 operator on TikTok as she thought it was quite funny.

Faulds told the operator she was stuck and needed someone to come and help her.

"I wish there was more people at the gym right now but I am stuck in this reverse-like back decompression thing. I don't know, I just can't get anyone's attention."

She had tried calling out to another person who was at the gym but they couldn't hear her as they were in another room.

"This is so embarrassing. I know as soon as they get here, someone is going to walk into the backroom and help me out but I am sorry, I am just stuck," she told the 911 operator.

In another TikTok video, Faulds said she went with her friend Jason but didn't have his number so she couldn't call him to help rescue her.

She also explained there were no staff members at the gym and she had used a swipe card to get in and use the equipment.

The video of Faulds stuck in the equipment racked up over seven million views and the 911 call she shared has hit one million views.

The Ohio woman said on TikTok she was glad everyone had a laugh about her situation but probably won't use the piece of equipment again.

"I don't know if I will ever go on that table again, to be honest."
