An Uber driver is being applauded on social media after sharing the drastic action she took to reveal a passenger's clandestine affair to his wife and children.
In a now viral video, the rideshare driver, named Roni, revealed how she single-handedly put paid to a philandering husband's covertly planned minibreak with his mistress.
"Well, things didn't turn out so well for him," Roni said in the clip, which amassed more than eight million views on TikTok.
Sharing her story, Roni explained she picked up the man from his home, with his wife and children walking him to the car to say their goodbyes.
As the man entered Roni's vehicle, he told her he'd added an additional stop to his trip. Roni drove to the new address, where a woman was waiting with luggage and a handbag.
"She gets in and she's like, 'I'm so glad you finally got away from your damn wife'," Roni recalled. "Then he kisses her - not a, 'Hi, how you doing?' kind of kiss."
The man then informed the driver he had updated the destination to a new location.
"So they continued to talk and she goes, 'I'm tired of you putting me off, when are you going to leave?' And he said, 'I've got some things I need to take care of, let's talk about this later'," Roni continued.
Realising the raunchy rendezvous was indeed an affair, Roni took it upon herself to expose the man's secret tryst.
Instead of taking the couple to the specified drop-off location, she turned the car around and returned to the man's address - dropping the married passenger and his mistress at the door of his unsuspecting family.
"I took him back to his house. I drove up and made him and her get out of my car at his home where his wife and his kids were.
"Both of them had their baggage and both of them were standing in his front yard when I left. You ought to be ashamed of yourself," Roni added.
When the car arrived outside his home, she said the man realised he was going to be "busted" by his wife, while his mistress began "freaking out".
Roni added she won't tolerate cheaters and will never knowingly enable infidelity as a rideshare driver.
"Listen up all you cheaters, if you ever need a lift and you get in my car, be forewarned. If you ever pull the kind of s*** this guy pulled today, you've got the same thing coming," she declared.
"Understand something; this is my car, I work for myself, I'm an independent contractor. If I choose to end your ride, it's my choice. If you were doing something crappy in my car, I have the right to handle it however I see fit.
"There was no other way this was gonna go on. There is nothing worse than a dog... Pull some s*** like that in my car and you're going to get done like that… Be better people, do better in life."
She added: "I hope you see this, you piece of s***."
The dramatic exposé has garnered Roni widespread praise on the video-sharing platform, with many viewers applauding the driver for putting an end to the man's indiscretion.
"Not all superheros wear capes. Good for you babes," one said.
Another wrote: "You just served up karma real quick! You ma'am, are awesome!"
A third added: "Hell yes! You're freaking awesome! Wish all people had the nerve to act as you did."
"Thank you! Thank you for watching out for the wife and kids - they deserve better," a fourth weighed in.
Roni later revealed the man's wife had managed to get in touch with her on social media and thanked her for exposing her cheating husband.
