A video showing KFC workers licking chicken and throwing chips has sparked outrage in Australia.
Shared on the social media platform TikTok, the video showed multiple employees licking and tucking into the chicken while also grabbing handfuls of lettuce and throwing chips around the kitchen. The video was captioned "closing time".
The fast food giant would not comment to local media about the incident, which allegedly took place at a branch in Queensland.
Taking to social media, many viewers said such behaviour shouldn't be tolerated.
"This is bloody disgusting… just as well I haven't bought KFC in years, and certainly won't in the future," one user weighed in on Facebook.
"What happened to all that food? I would rather see it go to the homeless if they are going to throw it around like that," another wrote.
"Disgusting behaviour, they should be sacked," a third added.
As of Monday, the video had reportedly been viewed nearly half-a-million times.
