No Kiwi thinks farming is an easy task, but new Three series Nadia's Farm is giving a behind-the-scenes glimpse of just how all-consuming and little-to-plan it can be — especially for one couple trying to do things a little differently.

Proudly sponsored by My Food Bag, Nadia's Farm documents the life of former MasterChef NZ winner Nadia Lim and her husband Carlos Bagrie, who three years ago took over the 1200 acre farm Royalburn Station at the base of the Crown Range which lies between Arrowtown and Cardrona.

The show follows Nadia and Carlos as they take on the mammoth task of mixing things up three years into owning the farm: turning it into a producer of ethically produced wool products, honey, eggs, seeds, butchery, a farm shop, and above all "setting the gold standard" for animal ethics.

You probably recognise Nadia as long-time ambassador of the country's leading local meal kit company My Food Bag, which is offering 'homegrown taste adventures' to coincide with the series. If you're inspired by Nadia and Carlos' farm life but not quite ready to leave the city (or the suburbs), you'll be able to bring a little of their lifestyle into your own kitchen.

My Food Bag will be producing a selection of meal kits inspired by meals seen throughout the season of Nadia's Farm. This means viewers can go on a homegrown taste adventure and cook up some of the deliciousness, seen on the show, in their own home in an accessible and (delicious) way!

My Food Bag is also set to allow Kiwis to actually shop for the products they're seeing produced by Royalburn station through a new 'farm shop' section on the website. Included on the site will be gorgeous products made under Nadia and Carlos' keen eye, including Royalburn Station Honey. There will also be a selection of products from local suppliers, including Clevedon buffalo tartinade, Mother & Daughter elderflower cordial and Augustine's black peach and tomato chutney.

Newshub has partnered up with My Food Bag to bring you a selection of recaps and recipes throughout the series, so you can keep up with the show before hitting the kitchen. Come back here each week to check out a delicious My Food Bag recipe related to that week's episode — before visiting myfoodbag.co.nz to order delicious and nutritious farm-produced goods and a selection of meals you see on Nadia's Farm.
