The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett has showed off his incredible transformation after shedding 63 kilograms during his weight loss journey.
The television personality and quizzer, 57, has been focusing on his health to help his battle with diabetes, which he attributes partly to his success.
"I think the diabetes may have helped because I eat a lot less. I drink a lot more fluids," he said about his weight loss during an appearance on the chat show Loose Women this week.
"And looking after a five-year-old during lockdown didn't help. The amount of times I collapsed in a heap! Plus I'm so busy these days."
He added that "eating less and drinking more" had helped him to shed a staggering 10 stone, or roughly 63 kilograms, in recent months.
Labbett - who stands about 6'6" tall - revealed he had slimmed down from 5XL to 2XL in January, sharing that his goal was "XL or bust".
He also acknowledged that his significant weight loss has been achieved through hard work alone, noting that he was advised not to undergo gastric band surgery due to possible complications with his diabetes.
According to reports, Labbett also addressed his new frame during a recent appearance on ITV's The Pet Show.
The 57-year-old said his dog, a golden retriever named Baloo, had been giving him a helping hand by forcing him to go on regular walks - his wife Katie apparently didn't want the extra chore - and find a consistent routine.
"I was walking him around the fields… I think he's helped a lot, simply because I'm doing more activity," he said.
Labbett became a household name after joining the popular ITV quiz show The Chase in 2009, nicknamed 'The Beast' for his towering stature. As a 'Chaser', Labbett attempts to 'catch' the contestants and eliminate them from the game to prevent the team from winning a cash prize.
Labbett is married to his second cousin Katie, who is 27 years his junior, and has one son.
