A UK woman was left with a skeleton across her mouth after her temporary Halloween tattoo wouldn't come off.
Elizabeth Rose, 46, from North Somerset shared her dilemma in a viral TikTok video seen over 1.8 million times.
In the video, she revealed she had not only applied the huge fake teeth and scar to her face, but also her granddaughter's.
"'Put a tattoo sticker on, join in a bit of Halloween, you know. Put some on my grandaughter as well, she's seven, and my daughter rings up and [she's] going 'has it come off?'," Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth said it can't be that difficult and then proceeded to vigorously rub her face with a makeup wipe but to no prevail as the tattoo will not come off.
"For f**ks sake, I've got meetings tomorrow," Elizabeth said.
Social media users found the blunder amusing.
"You will get all your projects approved if you show up in the meeting like that," one person commented.
"Glad I wasn't the only one to do this. I used hand sanitiser in the end," another said.
After comments flooded in suggesting tips, she went to try all kinds of methods to remove the tattoo including olive oil, vodka, nail polish remover, Sellotape and hand sanitiser.
But the trick to getting the fake tattoos off was Sellotape and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
"Only difference is I literally look like I've been slapped in the face 10 times by Will Smith."
