A US office employee claims she was sent home from work for wearing a "distracting" outfit.
Marie Dee, who wore a black, figure-hugging dress with a high neckline to her office job, shared on her TikTok that she was sent home after human resources allegedly deemed her outfit inappropriate.
Dee went on to film herself being confronted by a woman she called the "HR girl", who said her dress was "way too revealing and distracting" for the workplace.
"Guys it happened again, I'm getting sent home for my outfit," read an automated voice in Dee's video.
"This is getting ridiculous."
Dee's TikTok shows her walking into the HR employee's office to discuss her choice of workplace attire.
"I'm sorry, you can't wear that. It's way too revealing and districting," said the woman from HR.
Seemingly confused by the statement, Dee replied: "It's distracting?"
"Very," the employee responded.
Dee's video has amassed 2.7 million views since it was published, with many viewers throwing their support behind her.
"Is HR mad 'cause you look better than her?" one said, with a second adding: "The problem isn't your outfit, it's the HR girl's jealousy. You look great."
"HR seems to be overstepping here. I don't think anything is wrong," wrote another.
