Rihanna has admitted she struggled to dress her postpartum figure after giving birth to her first child last year, according to a new interview.
The Barbadian superstar and her rapper partner A$AP Rocky welcomed a son, whose name has yet to be revealed, last May.
While Rihanna opted to showcase her baby bump in a series of showstopping outfits throughout her pregnancy, she admitted she found dressing her postpartum body more difficult, she said in an interview for the March 2023 issue of British Vogue.
"Dressing for pregnancy was such a piece of cake. But dressing in postpartum, what the f**k do you do? The week that I came home from the hospital - that was nothing but sweats and hoodies. But the weeks after that, you don't know what to put on," she said.
"Everything is too small or too big. You've kind of just gotta wait it out otherwise you end up buying so many clothes you're not going to use. Well, unless you get pregnant again."
But Rihanna, who announced she is expecting her second child during her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show, said she finds joy in dressing and styling her son.
Noting that traditional kids' clothes are "so boring", the 'Umbrella' hitmaker said she prefers to outfit her little boy in gender-inclusive looks.
"I like to dress him in things that don't look like baby clothes. I like to push it. I put him in floral stuff. I put him in hot pink. I love that. I think that fluidity in fashion is best. I always shop in the men's department, you know," the 34-year-old added.
