A TikTok video has gone viral after a woman blocked her boss's number after he texted on her day off.
"I just blocked my boss so he couldn't contact me while I wasn't at work," the Canadian woman told her TikTok audience.
"I'm at home sick from work today and he felt the need to text me about work tasks."
She said she pays NZ$53 each month to have a separate work phone.
"He knows not to text my personal number but he still does sometimes so today I blocked him," she said.
The woman showed her annoyance in the video, as she complained that her boss "still" contacts her on her personal phone.
"I would be telling HR cause there's no reason he should have your personal phone number," one TikTok user said.
Hundreds of people in the comments either related to her experience or something similar.
"I had a talk to my boss about this it was giving me unnecessary anxiety," one user said.
"I block the whole office when I go on leave," another said.
The TikTok video has reached over 1.5 million views and has over 1000 comments backing her decision.
