A mixed nuts brand is recalling its products after an undeclared allergen was discovered.
Davis Trading Company Ltd is recalling all batches and all dates of its Essente brand Mixed Nuts (250g) due to the presence of the tree nut, hazelnut.
The product is sold at two Davis Trading stores: Davis Trading Wellington and Davis Food Ingredients Palmerston North.
NZ Food Safety said people with a tree nut allergy should not consume the product.
"If you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic to hazelnuts this recall does not affect you."
Customers with a tree nut allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
