A New Zealand technology hub has been opened in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Kiwi Connection will provide New Zealand tech companies with access to Vietnam's largest software park.
Minister of Economic Development Steven Joyce was on hand for the Kiwi Connection opening and says it will benefit both countries.
"Vietnam has a growing tech sector, it has a lot of people interested in working in ICT. We have some great companies that are growing rapidly and need more staff," says Mr Joyce.
"This way they can have a place in-market, which will give them an opportunity to sell their software here, but also recruit more talented people into their businesses."
The technology hub will give New Zealand tech companies an opportunity to deliver Kiwi technology to fast-growing Vietnam.
