My Food Bag had to apologise to its Auckland customers after "teething problems" with its new delivery process left many without their food.
The food service, which is supposed to deliver on Sundays or Mondays, failed to get the orders out leading to a backlog and many missed delivery that didn't sit well with many on social media.
"I have cancelled all future food bags," one person wrote on Facebook.
"I am sad to say after so many issues we will be cancelling their service," another person said.
On Monday morning My Food Bag Co-CEO Cecilia Robinson said the problems only effected its Auckland hub.
"Unfortunately, we have experienced teething problems with our new processes," she says.
"We have teams working around the clock to get deliveries to customers today."
Others have been more sympathetic to the disruptions, with some saying they'll stick by My Food Bag.
"I appreciate that these issues happen from time to time. My only feedback would be that there needs to be more regular communication in these instances to help manage expectations," one person wrote.
