Lotto's biggest-ever Jackpot draw had two winners on Saturday, but it seems they're not in a hurry to claim their prize.
Lotto New Zealand head of communications Marie Winfield, said the fact that the winners haven't come forward is "not unusual". It may be due to either that they're not being aware they've won - or they're letting the fact that they're now a multi-millionaire sink in.
"One-to-three days is not unusual," Winfield said.
Over 2.3 million tickets were sold ahead of the Lotto Jackpot $50 million draw on Saturday.
The $50 million jackpot draw produced two first division winners: one winner purchased their ticket at Countdown, Manukau City Mall in Auckland and the other purchased their ticket online through MyLotto, which was also registered in Auckland.
The widely-anticipated draw saw two winners each take away $25,111,111.
