Lotto: First division prize split three ways

Three Lotto players will be waking up with a smile on their dial after each winning $333,333.

The players - two from Auckland and one from Tauranga - took out a joint first division win. All three bought their tickets online, despite Lotto stores opening under alert level 2.

Powerball is rolling over to Wednesday night, with a $7 million jackpot.

Strike was won by a Dunedin gambler, pocketing $300,000. That ticket was sold at the city's Pak'nSave.

The winning numbers were 10, 12, 14, 28, 32 and 35. The Powerball was 8, the Bonus ball 29. Strike was 28, 32, 12 and 14.

"At alert level 2, all of our retail stores are able to re-open, with extra health and safety measures in place to keep our customers safe," Lotto said in a statement.

"We've also extended the claim period for winning paper tickets that expired during the lockdown, so our lucky players won't miss out on their prizes. "
