One lucky Lotto player will be waking up with a smile on their face on Sunday morning after striking it rich in Saturday night's draw.
The winner bagged a massive $17.16 million in Powerball First Division, the thirteenth Powerball struck so far this year.
The winning ticket was sold at West City Lotto in Auckland and is made up of $17 million from Powerball First Division and $166,667 from Lotto First Division.
Five other Lotto players also won First Division, each taking home $166,667.
Strike Four rolled over on Saturday, rising to $800,000 on Wednesday night.
Saturday night's big win comes less than a month after a New Plymouth punter took home $13 million in the last jackpot.
The biggest win this year was in February when someone from Christchurch won $22.5 million.
