An Aucklander will be enjoying a lockdown celebration after winning a whopping $11.5 million in Saturday night's Lotto Powerball draw.
Lotto is urging anyone in the region who bought a ticket on MyLotto to check their numbers online.
The winning ticket is made up of $11 million from Powerball and $500,000 from Lotto first division.
Saturday's Powerball win is the 15th so far in 2021 and the sixth biggest, with the largest this year coming in February - an eye-popping $22.5 million in February.
One other lucky Lotto player from Southland will also be celebrating in lockdown after securing $500,000 with Lotto first division.
Strike Four was not struck, however, and will roll over to Wednesday when it will be worth $300,000.
Lotto is reminding Kiwis that during lockdown they can still buy tickets online, with Lotto counters in retail stores closed until alert level 4 comes to an end.
Live draws can't continue during the lockdown, so computer-generated draws will be held for Lotto, Powerball and Strike under the inspection of Audit New Zealand.
