A Wellington Lotto player has won $16 million with Powerball First Division in Wednesday night's live Lotto draw.
The prize is made up of $15 million from Powerball First Division and $1 million from Lotto First Division.
The ticket was sold on MyLotto and will make the Wellington winner the sixteenth Powerball multi-millionaire of 2022.
The win comes after a $23.3 million Powerball prize was won by a syndicate of 24 players three weeks ago.
