A New Plymouth Lotto player woke up $24 million richer on Sunday morning after claiming First Division on Saturday night.
The winning ticket was sold at Bell Block Supermarket in New Plymouth and is made up of $23 million from Powerball First Division and $1 million from Lotto First Division.
The winning numbers were: 5, 31, 38, 3, 27, and 29. The Bonus Ball was 21, and the Power Ball was 5.
Meanwhile, Strike Four has rolled over on Saturday and will be $300,000 on Wednesday night.
Lotto urges anyone who bought their ticket from Bell Block Supermarket to check their ticket "as soon as possible" in-store or through the Lotto NZ App.
"Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to enquire about the best way to claim a prize," Lotto said in a statement.
Saturday night's winner is the 17th Powerball multi-millionaire of 2022, and the win comes one month after a huge $23.3 million Powerball prize was won by a syndicate of 24 players.
