Two lucky Lotto players will be toasting a special win after they each won $500,000 in Saturday night's first division draw.
Last night's numbers were 7, 34, 24, 15, 21 and 11. The bonus ball was 6 and the Powerball 1.
The winning tickets were sold at New World Rototuna in Hamilton and on MyLotto to a player from Northland.
Meanwhile, a Strike MyLotto player from Auckland will also be celebrating after taking home $400,000 with Strike Four.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.
Powerball wasn't struck and has rolled over to a $12 million jackpot on Wednesday night.
And if you're thinking about picking your own numbers, for Wednesday, a lottery expert has revealed the numbers Lotto players should avoid at "all costs".
General manager at EmuCasino Mike Greenberg, who has analysed Lotto's Powerball data from 2023, said the most "unlucky" number to pick for entry appears to be 36.
Greenberg said the number 27 is the next unlucky number that would follow. Twenty-seven was last drawn on May 6, and only selected 137 in total.
Greenberg said if Kiwis want to increase their odds, the most overdue number for Lotto is 26, last drawn on March 11, as well as 1, 29, 27 and 35.
He said the most common winning number in the lottery are 19, 15, 23, 17, 24 and 22. He said the number 19 has been drawn a total of 180 times, with the last time being June 17, 2023.
