Lotto: Napier player wins $1 million, Hamilton punter claims $400,000

One lucky Lotto player has brought winter to an end in style after winning $1 million with First Division on Wednesday night. 

The winning ticket was sold at Napier City Pak'nSave. 

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million.

Meanwhile, a lucky player from Hamilton will also be celebrating after winning $400,000 with Strike Four. 

The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Hamilton.

Anyone who bought their ticket from Napier City Pak'nSave or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto or through the MyLotto App.

The stars have also aligned for 14 lucky Lotto players after each winning $17,206 with Second Division on Wednesday night. 

Those tickets were sold at stores in Auckland, Tauranga, Kawerau, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Lower Hutt, Blenheim, Christchurch, Gore and Invercargill.
