Lotto: Five players share $1 million, 14 punters claim $24,000 - here's where winning tickets were sold

Five lucky Lotto players from around the country will be waking up $200,000 richer on Sunday morning after winning First Division on Saturday night. 

The winning tickets were sold at PK Superette in Pt Chevalier, Four Square Tītahi Bay in Porirua, New World Rolleston in Rolleston and on MyLotto to two players from Rotorua and Porirua. 

The winning numbers were 1, 27, 31, 22, 29 and 21. The bonus ball was 3 and Powerball was three.      

Powerball was not struck on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $20 million. 

A lucky Strike player from Tauranga will also be celebrating after winning $700,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto to the player from Tauranga. 

Meanwhile, 14 lucky players will be on cloud nine after each winning $24,058 with Second Division on Saturday night. 

Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $35,326. 

The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Pak'nSave Masterton in Masterton and Elles Rd New World in Strathern. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in the Far North, Milford, Manukau, Pukekohoe, Bulls, Horowhenua, Kapiti Coast, Masterton, Nelson City, Amberley, Christchurch City and Strathern.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
