Lotto: Three players share $1 million, five claim $50,000 – where winning tickets were sold

Three Lotto players from Wellington, Canterbury and New Plymouth will be on top of the world after each winning $333,333 with First Division on Saturday night.  

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown New Plymouth Central in New Plymouth and on MyLotto to players from Wellington and Canterbury. 

The winning numbers were 1, 11, 16, 17, 20 and 35. The bonus ball was 26 and powerball was 1.  

Powerball was not struck on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $500,000 on Wednesday night. 

Meanwhile, five Lotto players will be starting the month on a high after each winning $50,884 with Second Division on Saturday night.  

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Rukaka Stationary & Gifts in Northland, Pak'nSave Westgate in Auckland, Pak'nSave Lower Hutt in Wellington, Fresh Choice Roslyn in Dunedin and to a MyLotto player in Nelson City. 

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Countdown New Plymouth Central or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto NZ spokesperson said.
