An interactive map launched today will show what broadband services are or will be available to Kiwis around the country.
Communications Minister Amy Adams says the online map will give New Zealanders more information about when ultra-fast broadband or rural broadband coverage will be in a particular area.
From there, a connection into each home or business can be requested from a retail service provider.
The map was created by NZRS Ltd, the service delivery subsidiary of InternetNZ.
NZRS chief executive Jay Daley says the company has committed to keeping the data behind the map up to date and is working with network operators to fill in any gaps.
You can check your connection on the interactive map (please note it may take some time, depending on your connection).
