The Rainbow Warrior has sailed into Auckland Harbour for the first time in more than two years.
Greenpeace is marking 30 years since its original ship was bombed by French agents.
The current Rainbow Warrior sailed into Princes Wharf this morning with Peter Wilcox, the skipper at the time of the bombing, back behind the helm.
Public tours aboard the Rainbow Warrior will be held this weekend between 9am and 4pm, with Greenpeace inviting the public to meet the crew and have a look inside.
The visit of the Rainbow Warrior also marks the beginning of a new Greenpeace campaign to protest overfishing.
Greenpeace and the Rainbow Warrior will spend the next few months sailing to areas known for illegal and destructive fishing in an attempt to expose what they say is a threat to the livelihood of many Pacific communities.
