Police have confirmed a body recovered from Auckland harbour at the weekend was that of missing student Mandeep Singh.
The 20-year-old disappeared after a night out with friends in Auckland's viaduct on October 11, and had not been heard from since.
Police ruled his disappearance was not suspicious, and divers searched the harbour for signs of the Auckland student.
Mr Singh's death has been referred to the coroner.
