Police are redirecting traffic on State Highway 1 between Matua Rd and the Kumeu Bridge after an incident involving a car and a truck.
A tow truck is now at the scene, but the road is likely to remain closed to the public until after 8pm.
Those involved in the crash only received minor injuries.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
