Auckland's Central City Library will reopen tomorrow after it was forced to close today due to a burst water-main.
The burst occurred on Mayoral Drive and affected utilities in the library building.
Auckland Council spokesperson Therese Sutherland says from advice she's been given the problem should be fixed soon.
"The burst water main is being repaired and the library will reopen tomorrow," Ms Sutherland told Newshub.
General Manager of Auckland Libraries, Mirla Edmundson, says no collections have been affected.
However, due to health and safety measures people are unable to use the library until the issue is resolved.
Customers are still able to return items via the return slots on the outside of the building.
All other libraries in Auckland are open and functioning as usual.
